Don't confuse envy with desire. You may be envious of someone else's position or success because you have lost touch with your own dreams.
Do everything above in the context of your values and the community of people who are committed to guarding your heart. If you do not have such a community, find one and join it.

2.????? YANK THE DISEASED TOOTH?
Unresolved negative things have no place in a leader's heart. This principle does not negate patience, long suffering, hope, or working out difficult relationships over time. Do whatever you can to fix what is wrong and make it better. Forgive and reconcile. But don't let bad situations sit, stagnate, get infected, and drain your life away. "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." Move quickly to deal with whatever is crushing your spirit.
3.????? PLAY THE WHOLE MOVIE?
Every one of us have to conceive, plan and give an OSCAR-WINNING PERFORMANCE. Plot a movie, a vision of your life, your career, your relationships, your finances and so on. See it, plan it, and then evaluate each scene you write every day in light of where the movie is supposed to end. If you do that, and make sure that you include the right supporting cast, you are bound to get your Oscar for successful leadership and a life well lived.
And the cool thing is that the best reward is the life you will have built over time. That is the reality that will not only last for eternity, but will also give you abundance and fulfillment along the way. Choose the right scene at each pivotal moment, and you'll be the star in a great movie, one scene at a time.
